A TD (both on trusted dealer list on RWG and Rep Geeks) told me this just yesterday when I asked if Clean was out of business, and he said,

"It's not that the entire factory is closed. It's just a part of us. We are still doing business and very low-key. We can only produce in small batches, so the shipment will be delayed. We hope you can understand."

He seems honest and had sent me a great Clean (I think, LOL) recently , but before I buy again, I would Love any of your thoughts if this is legit or should I avoid - thank you all! 

It is difficult if not impossible to know where the truth lies on the other side of the world and in an underground and illegal world..

People say Clean's Daytonas are better quality than VSF, but almost everyone agrees it needs a deep crystal upgrade. Most people like VSF's GMTs over Clean's. I have a VSF 126500 panda, and though I've never seen a Clean in person, I've seen dozens, if not hundreds of picture of clean pandas, and I feel confident in saying my VSF is the better option OOTB. As far as GMT/Subs I'm not sure, haven't delved too deep into those and only have an ARF Pepsi, which is fine to me, looks and feels like a high quality clone. Plus, people recently were giving VSF heat for advertising using 904L steel like gens, but upon testing several VSF examples, they were shown to be using 316L steel. ARF, while it may not have the reputation of Clean or VSF, does claim to use 904L. I'd be interested in seeing some testing for those.

What TD? For now I’m exclusively thinking anybody saying this is using such statements as a sale tactic to sell what may be a “fake clean” so be careful just my opinion. Until it comes from a true reliable source I’ll believe
